“Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.” - Romans 12:2
The month of October we will spend looking at these two verses and what they mean for our lives. This series is all about Transforming into who Christ has called us to be. God does not want us to stay the same, but rather to change into a person who can reflect His glory! Don’t miss a single week!
October 5 – Become. The first week will be the beginning. First you must become a follower of Christ to begin to experience Change.
October 12 – Renew. Part of transforming is “renewing our mind.” There are things each of us has to rid ourselves of–but we must also choose to fill the void with the things of Christ.
October 19 – Reflect. Our charge from God is to reflect His glory! What would this world look like if everyone who followed Christ truly reflected His glory?
October 26 - Change. The result of following Christ is a changed life. But it is not necessarily easy, it is born out of being fully surrendered to Christ.
